Message	There are a couple of products that may hold up better: rubberized coating that you dip things into (ie to make coated plier handles) and brush-on "electrical tape". I believe these both come in a variety of colors. The latter is available in Home Depot in the wiring section and is only 3 or 4 bucks for a bottle.
